Volunteering At Dogwood Acres

There are many ways to get involved with Dogwood Acres, and volunteering your time and energy is perhaps the most rewarding. Not only that, by contributing some of your time and talents, you will make a lasting impact on all those who find their way to this special piece of God's creation.

Whether you have a couple of hours of free time, or a couple of months, whether you are one person or a large group of people, skilled or unskilled, we have projects and initiatives that need doing.

During the summer months we especially need healthcare professionals to volunteer in our summer camp health center. We also have a great need for volunteer summer camp counselors, lifeguards, and activity leaders.

During the year, there are many tasks, both indoors and outdoors, skilled and unskilled that we need assistance with. We especially look for long-term volunteers who can serve for a month or more. For these residential "mission volunteers" we provide temporary onsite housing and meals (or reimbursement for meals).
