Dogwood Acres Privacy Conventions and Procedures
Dogwood Acres will not release personal information about any camper to any other party unless authorized by the parent or guardian. If we receive a request, for example, from another camper seeking your child's address, we will not provide it. Rather, we will notify you and let you make the contact.
We will not verify your child's enrollment in a summer camp program to any third party.
When parents or guardians sign a summer camp enrollment form, they are giving permission to use photos, video, and audio recordings of their child in promotional material and on the website. In most instances, Dogwood Acres will not identify any camper whose picture appears on our website, brochure or newsletter. However, in some instances, (for example, when quoting a camper's comments in a newsletter article or describing a camper's actions in a photo caption), we may choose to identify campers by grade level, hometown, home church, or first name.
