Why Do I See Two Prices?

We believe that every child deserves a chance to experience summer camp and because of this and generous contributions from churches and individuals, we are able to offer a tiered pricing model. This model allows families to pick what amount they can pay for their camper's registration. All camp activities, amenities, and staff are the same for every camper, regardless of their family's selection. Please consider the tiers and choose the best fit for your family. An explanation of the individual tiers is below. Should your family not be able to afford the cost of camp, we do have a scholarship program available.

Tier 1 - Our reduced rate for summer camp programming that we can offer families thanks to generous contributions from the Presbytery, local churches, and individual donors.

Tier 2 - This rate most closely accounts for the total cost of providing our summer programming (staff, food, utilities, activity supplies, maintenance, insurance – all of the things that go into making a safe and rewarding summer program possible).

Intro Camp

Campers entering 2nd or 3rd grade

This First-Timers' program is designed for a camper's first exposure to Dogwood Acres and its outdoor ministry. We'll explore God's creation as we play games, swim, enjoy arts and crafts, talk about God, learn about our camp traditions (It's Tidy Turtle time!) and go on adventures together through Dogwood's forests and streams. This 4-day/3 night "taste" of camp life in our safe, caring community begins on Sunday afternoon and concludes on Wednesday afternoon.

Tier 2 - $410; Tier 1 - $335

Discovery Camp

Campers entering 3rd-5th grades

Discovery Camp offers young campers the opportunity to embark on many Dogwood Acres adventures, traditions, and Bible studies in the great outdoors. Campers make new friends and participate in a broad range of discoveries, such as the teamwork required by our progressive Challenge Course and the personal challenges of archery, plus the pool, campfires, and other fun opportunities.

Tier 2 - $525; Tier 1-$460

Adventure Camp

Campers entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade

In addition to typical camp activities, Adventure campers participate in some more exciting camp offerings, including hikes, canoeing, and a campfire meal. These middle schoolers are able to learn more about their faith and the journey we are all on as they are immersed in the fun of Dogwood Acres.

Tier 2 - $525; Tier 1 - $460

High School Week

Campers entering 9th-12th grades

Unplug from everyday distractions to take in the wonders of Dogwood Acres! High schoolers, our most mature campers, are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God, explore the great outdoors, develop meaningful friendships, and expand leadership skills. While these campers participate in many regular camp activities and traditions, they'll also embark on an off-site canoe trip. In addition to the canoe trip, there will be other excursions, on- or off-site , exclusively for high schoolers.

Tier 2 - $560; Tier 1 - $495
